Food was good yesterday. For dinner had a mini pork chop, tons of green beans and a whole wheat low fat pasta salad, that I loved and the rest of the family hated plus my vanilla orange bar from dairy queen. Realized that I wasn't able to make to the next day without eating and had a cup of blueberries at 930pm just to tide me over.
Breakfast has been the same as yesterday and todays snack was 1 cup of low sodium v-8 juice and a mini box of special k with 1/8 cup of raisins.
My weight release mini goal is to be able to fit the size 14 at H&M(a clothing store). I can fit the size 14 at other clothing stores but at H&M everything is a bit snug. I usually give myself 3 months to reach my mini goals and have given myself the whole year to release the 45pds. Actually I could stay the size I am now for the rest of my life and be happy but I want to at least try to release the 45 pds and then I would be the BMI for my height. Going to go for a 1 1/2-2 hour walk today making sure to get lots of hills since hills help me release weight and tone muscle.

Back on Track
The last few days I feel like my food as been all over the place and while not weight gaining certainly not weight releasing. Last night I promised myself back on track. For dinner last night I had half a chicken breast 1/4 of a sweet potatoes and 1 cup of cooked carrots plus my vanilla and orange bar from dairy queen. I made a chicken recipe Whole Roasted Lemon-Herb Chicken on a Bed of Vegetables | Eating Well from eating well magazine and it was wonderful, they have many good recipes all low fat.
Breakfast was two pieces of squirrely bread(low fat, low sodium full of fibre) with pumpkin butter Sweet Pumpkin Butter (but I did not add the 3/4 cup of white sugar to the recipe) 1 cup of blueberries and 1 cup of skim milk. Did 30 minutes of pilates this morning and now having my rooibos tea with skim milk. It always takes my body a few days to adjust to eating less and those days are so hard. Im not used to the feeling of being hungry and it is a challenge to let myself feel hungry but I know this two will pass. For morning snack will have 1 cup of low sodium V-8 juice and then probably an apple as well. Lunch today is going to be sol veggie burger with two pieces of squirrely bread with mustard, lettuce, tomato and carrots on the side. Feel free to share in the comments what you are eating and if you need some help getting started let me know and I would be happy to help.

45 pds left to go
A little bit after xmas I weighed myself and realized I have released 90 pds, wow! I was amazed my goal before xmas was to release 18 more pds and I released that plus 10 more. I dramatically overhauled the way I eat in the last two years and incorporated some minor exercise. Most of my weight release has been from eating healthier. This is not a diet for me but a lifestyle that I plan to eat this way for the rest of my life. What I plan to do over these months and possibly years is to document how I eat and why I choose those foods but for now I thought I would just write an intro.
Some of you may notice that I use the term weight release instead of loss. To lose something typically means that you want it back and miss it. Since I do not want the weight back and do not miss it, I released it, I let it go and I have let my language reflect this.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to post any questions or comments you have.
